The mission of our youth program is to empower at-risk youths with skills to succeed academically and socially, to prevent school drop out and to help youth become responsible, productive adults. This is accomplished, in part, by creating healthy relationships with youth as well as providing integrative information and referral services to their families.
Volunteers are recruited, trained and grouped with students each year. They are supervised by the Youth Program Assistant and the Program Coordinators, who provide support and direction.
Youth Program services are free to participating youth and their families. To reduce costs associated with camp, the Youth Program raises funds for the camp scholarships, or "Camperships."
